01/17/23 - An Important Update Regarding Performance R1T Rock Sliders from Megawatt™

01/17/23 - An Important Update Regarding Performance R1T Rock Sliders from Megawatt™

It has been a little bit since the last update regarding the Megawatt™ Rock Sliders for R1T. To that end, I wanted to check in with an important update.

Good news:
1. We've had a stronger-than-expected response.
2. We are still on schedule!
  • Final fabrication of the first production units will occur on or before Jan 31st.
  • They will then go to powder coat, which will take 7-10 days.
  • Orders will be packed and shipped continuing on from there
SUPER IMPORTANT NEWS:
Since we started, we've encountered a very strong demand for our Megawatt™ Rock Sliders for R1T. Unfortunately, our focus on uncompromising quality and handmade-in-America craftsmanship has resulted in higher-than-anticipated costs. As a result, we will no longer be able to offer the current 15%-off discount through the end of the month. We will instead need to sunset this offer at the end of the day tomorrow (01/17/23).

We still want to reward folks who pre-order. (We just can't do introductory pricing PLUS 15% off). As such, we'll continue the introductory pricing of $1499 through the start of production. From there, the retail price of these units will go up to $1799.

I realize that $1799 may feel like a lot compared to where we started. It is important to highlight, however, that "cheap rock sliders" were never our goal. Our primary mission with the Megawatt™ brand is to create value in quality. As such, we have set this final price at a point that enables us to sustain ourselves as a small business, while also offering the highest-quality rock slider possible. We are not the cheapest option on the market, but also not the most expensive. Our offer is instead on par with other high-quality, high-end rock sliders for vehicles of this caliber.

I know this change may come as a surprise to some and encourage anyone frustrated by the price increase to ping me directly. In the meantime, I and the entire team at Electruck4x4.com would like to thank you for your understanding, partnership, and continued support.

Sincerely,
Brenton
